The Rutgers School of Communication and Information will host its fifth annual COMMchella music festival on Wednesday, April 8 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at The Yard on the College Avenue campus.
The event will feature live performances from Kaleb Cohen, Sam Tunkel & The Long Whiles, Shockwave, and BlüeCrüe.
COMMchella will offer career-focused opportunities, including conversations with alumni, interview and resume workshops, and free LinkedIn headshots. Attendees can also enjoy free pizza, giveaways, a photo booth, and tabling from over 30 student organizations.
Organizers say the event is designed to blend music, culture, and professional development while fostering community among Rutgers students. Each experience is designed to help students explore communication careers while enjoying a festival atmosphere.
WRSU will also have a table full of merchandise at COMMChella. There will be free giveaways of WRSU-branded phone wallets, magnets, pins and vintage stickers.
COMMchella is free and open to all Rutgers students.
