Elie Honig meets with WRSU to discuss new book on the presidency

Rutgers alumnus and professor Elie Honig sat down with WRSU’s Zach Ashare to discuss the release of his new book, “When You Come at the King: Inside DOJ’s Pursuit of the President, from Nixon to Trump.” Honig is a former Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and is currently a CNN Senior Legal Analyst as well as a three-time author following the release of “When You Come at the King” on September 16.

In this interview, Honig shares the process of writing this book, from where he found inspiration to how he is handling the promotional period following the book’s official release. Honig also discusses how he managed his time during the writing period of this book while simultaneously juggling numerous other professional responsibilities. Honig explains how he received contributions from many people involved in the very history covered in the book, including the influential Carl Bernstein.
