Knight Noise: Rutgers Football Audio Ahead of Week 7 vs Oregon | Walker, Sheffield, Kaliakmanis, Djabome

Ahead of the Rutgers Football team’s week seven matchup against Oregon, WRSU’s Will Carmenaty and Nick Hart got a chance to speak with some of the players during the week.

On Tuesday, Carmenaty spoke with Rutgers defensive lineman Jordan Walker. The Rutgers defense allowed 579 yards to the Huskies. Walker recorded a tackle for loss and a sack.

Rutgers quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis also spoke with the media on Tuesday. Kaliakmanis went 31/50, recording 386 yards and two touchdowns, as well as an interception.

On Wednesday, Hart had a chance to speak with Rutgers wide receiver DT Sheffield. Sheffield recorded six catches for 68 yards. He also attempted a pass that was incomplete.

Rutgers linebacker Dariel Djabome also spoke to the media on Wednesday. Djabome recorded seven tackles and two forced fumbles.

The Scarlet Knights welcome No. 8 Ducks this Saturday at 6:30 PM. Coverage on WRSU will start with the Rutgers Countdown pregame show at 5:30 PM. Frankie Palumbo and Chase Jacoby will be on the call with Nick Hart on the sideline.
