The Primary Election Trilogy comes to a close as incoming Rutgers Republicans President Andrew Joseph reflects on the Republican primary results and the future of the GOP. The show covers the latest in peace talks between the United States and Iran, after the two countries exchanged airstrikes earlier this week. Other national stories included President Trump nominating Jay Clayton to become Director of National Intelligence, a partial Pentagon evacuation due to air quality concerns and Elon Musk’s SpaceX company joining the stock market as a public entity. The latest New Jersey stories included a Somerset County detective charged with a DUI due to crashing his SUV into three parked cars, NJ Transit providing 535 buses and two ferries to aid in World Cup transportation and a deer fatally jumping off a Garden State Parkway overpass onto an SUV. The show ends with the standoff between New York Knicks owner James Dolan’s conflict with New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and NYPD Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch on Knicks watch party protocols, with Dolan even going as far as to accuse Mamdani of being a “fake fan.” Hosted by Maryam Malihi.
