New Brunswick police investigate early morning carjacking

The New Brunswick Police Department is investigating a carjacking that happened early Monday morning.
It happened near the intersection of Nichol Avenue and Sandford Street.
Police say four suspects with weapons approached the driver, who is not affiliated with the University, then ordered the victim to get out of their car before driving away in the victim’s vehicle.
The car was later recovered and the victim was not hurt.
A description of the suspects is limited at this time.
NBPD asks that anyone with additional information reaches out to their Detective Bureau.
