New Brunswick steps back into the ’90s in Saturday bazaar

New Brunswick revived the nineties aesthetic on George Street from 3-8:30 PM, closing the road between Albany Street and Paterson Street to make room for all of the shopping stalls.

The Asbury Park Bazaar committee curated stalls that included jewelry, candles, acrylic nails, and fresh fruit drinks. Those were all sold by local vendors and artisans.

There was live music from the professional cover band “Who Brought the Dog,” which sang hits by Carrie Underwood, Maroon 5, and the Killers.

There was a 21+ zone in front of the stage, where the Harvest Moon Brewery and Cafe celebrated 30 years in New Brunswick by selling discounted beer to its patrons.

The Spring fest and bazaar was a well-attended event with New Brunswick residents of all ages having fun with lawn games, interactive activities, and 90s-themed outfit contests.
