Rutgers researchers recently announced that they had successfully developed a new variety of grape tomato, which they have named “Scarlet Sunrise.” In an exclusive interview with WRSU, one of the lead researchers, Peter Nitzsche, talks about the breakthrough new tomato and the process of creating it.
