Shaky Knees Returns to Atlanta with All-Star Rock Lineup

The Strokes, Gorillaz, Geese, Pavement, and more will all play the Atlanta festival.

Shaky Knees, the ultimate East Coast rock festival, returns this year with a phenomenal lineup of rock n’ roll’s past and present.

For three days in September, the best of rock will play in Atlanta’s Piedmont Park. On September 18-20, The Strokes, Twenty One Pilots, and Gorillaz will headline. These iconic headliners are only a taste of what the rest of the weekend offers.

Since 2013, Shaky Knees has delivered the greatest acts to the East Coast, and the past few years have been no different. In 2025, Deftones, Blink-182, and My Chemical Romance headlined, while in 2024, Weezer, Noah Kahan, and Foo Fighters led the festival. Years past have included plenty of headliners tough to top; however, the depth of this year’s lineup reveals a new level of excitement.

Day one includes the fewest acts, while packing the biggest punch. The new champions of NYC rock, Geese, return to the fest for the first time since 2021; hot off their beloved 2025 album, Getting Killed. Joining Geese are two contemporary rock mainstays. Turnstile and Fontaines D.C. both make their SK debut on Friday night.

Before The Strokes close Friday night, Danny Elfman, Hot Mulligan, Alice Phoebe Lou, Ben Howard, Snow Strippers, Cartel, and Goldford will all perform fantastic sets.

Saturday dives deeper into a diverse range of sounds, including Pierce The Veil, The Prodigy, Blood Orange, Peach Pit, Taking Back Sunday, Wolf Alice, Geordie Greep, and Rum Jungle. One of the most exciting moments of the weekend will be when the princes of slacker rock, Pavement, play on Saturday night.

Along with Pavement and a Twenty One Pilots closing set is Minus The Bear, The Rapture, Congress The Band, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Elio Mei, Villanelle, Cruz Beckham, Rehash, The Inspector Cluzo, Sophie’s Body, Songs For Kids, and Hotel Fiction – a stacked day two.

Sunday will close things out with a trio of must-see acts. Before Gorillaz closes the weekend, LCD Soundsystem and Wu-Tang Clan will make everyone in the crowd dance themselves clean.

Like Saturday, Sunday runs deep, inviting Knocked Loose, Modest Mouse, Japanese Breakfast, and Santigold to perform. If you’ve ever tuned into college radio, you’re sure to love this festival. And the lineup keeps going, day three also includes Coheed And Cambria, The Two Lips, Fcukers, American Hi-Fi, Porch Light, Big Special, Jet, Ok Go, Violet Grohl, Cardinals, Showing Teeth, and Garbagebarbie.

If you’re overwhelmed by how unbeliavle this lineup is, don’t worry – we all are. Shaky Knees 2026 is what a rock festival is all about, and we can’t wait to see what the weekend brings. Tickets are on sale now and moving fast. Find tickets and more information on the festival here.
